ALPEN was founded by an avid cyclist who'd had six bikes stolen. Tired of struggling to store and protect bikes in tight, urban living quarters, he set out to build the world's most high-tech, weatherproof, theft proof bike parking solution. Blending form with function and IoT technology, the founder drew upon his background in commercial real estate to create a networked, hardware-as-a-service amenity to conveniently and reliably serve the largest landlords in the world and their discerning residents.
